I am happy to report that the reception on July 2, in honor of the visiting Director of IIT Kharagpur was a big success. About 50 alumni and their spouses attended the event. Many had travelled quite a distance to come to the function. A few of the alumni from other IITs were also there. Director Ghosh presented his vision for IIT Kharagpur and in general about other IITs.He also talked about the activities planned for the Golden Jubilee year of IIT Kharagpur. It was a very enjoyable evening and I compliment Puran Dang and his group for organizing such a wonderful event
